What are those Green Dots?
spectrum line

We now have a majority (if not all) of the classrooms on campus live for Ethernet. This is represented by a Green Dot. Please note: We only mark public spaces that are live with a Green dot. Just because your office drop does not have a Green Dot next to it does NOT mean it is not live. These Green Dots have only been used in public areas.

- You may see these on various Network Data drops on Campus. What does it mean? It means that the Drop is "LIVE" for 10BaseT Ethernet. You can plug in any Network ready computer (A computer set up to work on our campus) and have access to the Internet. This includes Telneting to MHC, Browsing the Web or what ever else you want to do.
