
LITS Technology Mentors 2006
In their roles, mentors support the use of technology in courses
across the curriculum in the humanities, sciences and social sciences.
Working in tandem with both faculty and LITS
Liaisons, mentors provide support for a wide variety of applications
and initiatives that may be offered within a course:
*web page assignments *image capture and edit(still and video)
*digital music composition *PowerPoint presentations
*building online surveys/forms *Refworks citation databases
*digital storytelling *applying XML/TEI to primary sources
*collaborative writing via wiki *specialized curricular software
such as Sonar, SPSS, Mathematica or Simulink...
