<B>BABSON PARK, Mass. (Sept. 30, 2008) -</B> The Babson College women's volleyball team downed visiting Mount Holyoke College 3-0 (25-18, 25-21, 25-23) this evening in New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) action at Staake Gymnasium. With their third straight win over the Lyons, the Beavers improved their record to 11-3 overall and a perfect 4-0 in league play.

Babson was paced by junior Caitlin O'Neill, first year Meg Flaherty and senior Amanda Medin. O'Neill led the team with 12 kills, Flaherty chipped in with eight kills, and Medin totaled six kills. Flaherty also recorded a team-high 12 digs, while senior Becca Rydzik and junior Shanna Glassner added 10 digs apiece. Sophomore setter Ashley Tremblay finished with a career high 29 assists.

Leading the way for Mount Holyoke was senior outside hitter <B>Chelsea Tracy</B>, who amassed ten kills. Sophomore setter <B>Kateryna Kuc</B> tallied nine assists, while classmate <B>Rosa Marruffo</B> added 12 digs.
<BR><BR>
Mount Holyoke (4-5, 0-4 NEWMAC) will be off until next Tuesday, when it hosts Springfield College for a NEWMAC contest beginning at 7:00 p.m.
