<p><strong>﻿SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. (Sept. 29, 2009) </strong>&ndash; Junior outside hitter Nina Milovanovic collected nine kills and six digs to help the Babson College women&rsquo;s volleyball team to a 3-0 (25-10, 25-17, 25-23)&nbsp; triumph over New England Women&rsquo;s and Men&rsquo;s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) foe Mount Holyoke College this evening at the Mildred Howard Gymnasium. With their fourth straight win over the Lyons, the Beavers improved to a perfect 4-0 in league play.</p>
<p>Babson also received a boost from sophomore outside hitter Meg Flaherty, who posted 13 kills. Seniors Caitlin O&rsquo;Neill and Becca Rydzik tallied ten kills and seven digs, respectively. Meanwhile, first year setter Kathleen Lynch chipped in with 34 assists.</p>
<p>Leading the way for Mount Holyoke was junior outside hitter <strong><a href="http://www.mtholyoke.edu/athletics/varsity/volleyball/16593.shtml">Rosa Marruffo</a></strong>, who registered five kills and seven digs. First year outside hitter <strong><a href="http://www.mtholyoke.edu/athletics/varsity/volleyball/23606.shtml">Morgan Cooley</a></strong> collected six kills and three blocks, while junior setter <strong><a href="http://www.mtholyoke.edu/athletics/varsity/volleyball/16587.shtml">Kateryna Kuc</a></strong> dished out 13 assists. Junior defensive specialist <strong><a href="http://www.mtholyoke.edu/athletics/varsity/volleyball/16583.shtml">Kara Neidhardt</a></strong> and sophomore middle hitter <strong><a href="http://www.mtholyoke.edu/athletics/varsity/volleyball/20626.shtml">Tyler Protano-Goodwin</a></strong> added seven digs and four blocks, respectively.</p>
<p>Mount Holyoke (3-7, 0-4 NEWMAC) will return to action this weekend, when it participates in the Mid Coast Classic. The Lyons will face off against Rivier College on Friday at 8:00 p.m. before meeting up with host Bowdoin College at 11:00 a.m. and Worcester State College at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Babson (9-5, 4-0 NEWMAC) is slated to resume its NEWMAC schedule next Tuesday versus Wellesley College at 7:00 p.m.</p>
