Mary Kate Switchenko Named "Lyon of the Week"

Junior field hockey player Mary Kate Switchenko has been named "Lyon of the Week" for the week of September 22-28. The forward recorded five points on two goals and an assist in a perfect 2-0 week for Mount Holyoke. Switchenko dished out an assist in the Lyons 4-0 triumph at Western New England College on Tuesday. She then scored both Mount Holyoke goals in its 2-0 win over Wheaton College on Saturday. Switchenko's 13 points and six goals are both team highs this season.
