Anne Doton Named "Lyon of the Week"

Senior field hockey player Anne Doton has been named "Lyon of the Week" for the week of October 20-26. The midfielder racked up eight points on three goals and two assists in leading Mount Holyoke to a 3-0 week. Two of the Lyons wins came against NEWMAC foes. Doton figured in on both goals in Mount Holyoke's 2-0 win over Clark University on Tuesday. After assisting on the first, she scored the second. She also came up with a key defensive save in the contest. On Saturday, she found the cage twice and dished out one assist in the Lyons 4-1 triumph over MIT. For the season, she has totaled a team best 29 points. Her 13 assists are a squad best, and she has also delivered eight goals and a pair of defensive saves.
