<p><strong>SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. (April 9, 2009)</strong> - With just one regular season competition remaining, Mount Holyoke's varsity eight boat has surged to a regional ranking of number seven. The&nbsp;Lyons were ranked ninth in&nbsp;the&nbsp;New England Rowing&nbsp;Championships (NERC) Coaches Poll for Week 2, but they moved up two spots after a pair of successful races over the weekend.</p>
<p>Mount Holyoke is slated to face off against Trinity College and Smith College in a key competition on Saturday at Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass. Trinity and Smith are currently ranked second and sixth, respectively.</p>
