Raugei Picks Up "Lyon of the Week" Accolades
Sophomore lacrosse team member Clara Raugei has been named “Lyon of the Week” for the week of March 16-22. Raugei totaled eight points on six goals and two assists in a 1-1 week for Mount Holyoke. The attacker exploded for three goals and two assists in the Lyons thrilling 15-12 triumph over Allegheny College in West Palm Beach, Florida on Wednesday. It was her second hat trick of the week and fourth consecutive overall. She also posted a three goal effort in her team’s 19-10 setback versus St. Lawrence University on Monday. Raugei tallied five draw controls and two caused turnovers in Mount Holyoke’s two spring break contests. For the season, she has amassed 14 goals and two assists.
