<p><strong>SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. (Oct. 6, 2009)</strong> &ndash; The Mount Holyoke College women&rsquo;s tennis team raced past New England Women&rsquo;s and Men&rsquo;s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) foe Clark University 9-0 this afternoon at the Mount Holyoke Tennis Courts. It was the Lyons 13th straight victory over the Cougars.</p>
<p><strong><a href="http://www.mtholyoke.edu/athletics/varsity/tennis/23615.shtml">Nahree Han</a></strong>, <strong><a href="http://www.mtholyoke.edu/athletics/varsity/tennis/23620.shtml">My-Linh Nguyen</a></strong>, <strong><a href="http://www.mtholyoke.edu/athletics/varsity/tennis/20632.shtml">Sarah Moore</a></strong> and <strong><a href="http://www.mtholyoke.edu/athletics/varsity/tennis/16578.shtml">Sarah London</a></strong> each secured wins at both singles and doubles for Mount Holyoke.</p>
<p>The Lyons dropped just five games en route to a sweep of the three doubles matches. Han and Nguyen earned an 8-3 victory at the number one slot, while Moore and <strong><a href="http://www.mtholyoke.edu/athletics/varsity/tennis/16575.shtml">Natalie Hsiang</a></strong> cruised to an 8-0 triumph in their number two contest. London teamed with <strong><a href="http://www.mtholyoke.edu/athletics/varsity/tennis/23622.shtml">Carly Peltier</a></strong> an 8-2 win at the number three position.</p>
<p>Mount Holyoke then finished things off with straight sets victories in each of the six singles contests. Han, Moore, London, Nguyen <strong><a href="http://www.mtholyoke.edu/athletics/varsity/tennis/20634.shtml">Heather Richardson</a></strong> and <strong><a href="http://www.mtholyoke.edu/athletics/varsity/tennis/16581.shtml">Elizabeth Tighe</a></strong> came out on top in the numbers one through six spots, respectively.</p>
<p>The Lyons (3-4, 2-3 NEWMAC) will return to action tomorrow, when they face off against Wesleyan University at 5:45 p.m. Meanwhile, Clark (2-9, 0-5 NEWMAC) is slated to resume its NEWMAC schedule on Saturday at Wheaton College. The Cougars second of three straight road matches will begin at 1:00 p.m.</p>
