MHC Professor Hailed for Mentoring Efforts

Sheila Browne, Bertha Phillips Rodger Professor of Chemistry, was featured in the November 21 Daily Hampshire Gazette for her work in mentoring science students. Browne was recently chosen as the recipient of this year's Lifetime Mentor Award by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) for her dedication to mentoring students over the past 25 years and for increasing the number of women with Ph.D.s in chemistry.
