


<p><font size=4><span class=pagetitle>Squash Takes Pair at Wesleyan Invitational</span></font></p>

<B>MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (Dec. 2, 2007) -</B> Rebounding from it's first loss of the season, the Mount Holyoke College women's squash team picked up a pair of victories at the Wesleyan University Invitational today. Following a 9-0 shutout of George Washington University, the Lyons edged Hamilton College 5-4.

Mount Holyoke cruised past George Washington in its first match of the day, dropping just two games. With momentum on their side, the Lyons earned a thrilling 5-4 victory in their final contest of the day against previously unbeaten Hamilton.

First year <B>Vidushi Gurunada (Colombo, Sri Lanka/Lyceum Int'l School)</B>, junior <B>Menusha Hettiarachchi (Colombo, Sri Lanka/Holy Family Convent)</B>, sophomore <B>Laura Robinson (Paget, Bermuda/Saltus Grammar School)</B>, sophomore <B>Laurian Lue Yen (Kingston, Jamaica/St. Paul's (N.H.))</B> and senior <B>Elizabeth Wright (Lexington, Mass./Phillips Exeter)</B> grabbed two victories apiece on the day.

Mount Holyoke (4-1) will be off until Friday, January 11, when it competes in the Constable Invitational at Princeton University. The event will conclude the following day.
