Squash Drops Colby in Howe Cup Opener, 7-2

PRINCETON, N.J. (Feb. 22, 2008) - The Mount Holyoke College women's squash team cruised to a 7-2 victory over Colby College in the opening round of the 2008 Howe Cup National Championships today at Princeton University. As a result of their second win of the season over Colby, the Lyons (16-4) will now move on to the semifinal round of tournament's "B" Division.

Mount Holyoke will meet up with Cornell University tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. in Jadwin Gymnasium. Cornell advanced by blanking Hamilton College 9-0. The other semifinal round matchup will pit Williams College against Bates College at 9:00 a.m.
