Undefeated Messiah Heads Field Hockey Poll

NFHCA Division III Poll (10/27/09)

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. (Oct. 28, 2009) - Messiah College is the nation's top ranked team for the seventh week in a row according to the most recent version of the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Poll (10/27/09). The Falcons earned 46 first place votes to remain atop the rankings. Salisbury University sits in the number two position for the seventh week in a row. Meanwhile, Ursinus College remains in the third slot for the second week in a row.

The Division III National Championship is slated to take place at the Mount Holyoke Turf Field in November. Over the course of the fall, the NFHCA Poll will be released each Tuesday. Check the Mount Holyoke Athletics website for links to the polls each week.
