If I have a documented disability, what resources are available?
The goal of disability services is to enable the student to fully engage in the college experience. We work with students individually to determine which resources will help them succeed. Some examples of services include: academic accommodations such as alternative formats of written materials, note-takers, assistive technology, sign language interpreters and various other accommodations.

What is the process for requesting disability-related accommodations?
Mount Holyoke College mails incoming students a packet of materials including the "Accommodations for Student with Disabilities" form. Once the completed forms are received by Disability Services, the office will determine reasonable accommodations and services. In their first few weeks on campus, students are expected to schedule an individual appointment to discuss their disability and address any questions or concerns about academics, residential life or other aspects of their MHC experience. It is important that a student maintains communication/contact with the office of disability services as their needs change throughout their time at Mount Holyoke College.
