What is ISIS?
ISIS is Mount Holyoke College's Internet Student Information System. ISIS facilitates a 'one-stop shopping environment' for the College community. Through it, students and faculty throughout the world can reach the College to participate in registering for classes, to order official transcripts, to submit grades online and to perform many other administrative and academic tasks.
ISIS is generally at all times of day or night, but is occasionally taken off-line for maintenance. (Generally, this is scheduled between 2:00a.m. and 5:00a.m. EST.) Of course, some tasks, like registering for classes or adding/dropping courses, have specific deadlines which ISIS enforces.
Most people find ISIS straightforward to use, especially as they become more familiar with it. The instruction sheets on the Registrar's site provide detailed help with most specific tasks but, if you have further questions after reviewing these, please contact the Office of the Registrar, 413-538-2025.
