Foreign Fellow, International Exchange Student and International Guest Student Curriculum Guide
We are delighted that you will be joining the Mount Holyoke College community this fall and look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful campus. We hope that you will keep us in mind as resources during the weeks leading up to the start of classes and throughout your time at the College.
The purpose of this web site is to help you select and pre-register for your fall semester courses. On these pages you will find information about the curriculum and instructions for pre-registration. This site, created especially for students new to Mount Holyoke College, features additional information about college resources, residential life and other topics of interest.
As you select your courses in June and early July, keep in mind that you may not be able to register for some of the more advanced courses online, since you have not taken the necessary prerequisite courses. However, if you want to register for a particular course, all you need to do is send an email to Lori Widmer-Hinckley in the Registrar's Office. Lori will add you manually to the class list or, if the class is full, to the waiting list.
Remember also that the courses for which you pre-register represent a working draft of your fall schedule. In September, you'll have a chance to discuss your courses with your assigned faculty advisor. Changes to your schedule can be made during the add/drop period (September 2nd through September 23rd).
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us by phone or email. Be assured that we, along with your advisors and professors, will help guide you throughout your year or semester here at Mount Holyoke.
We look forward to your arrival on September 2, 2009.
