Pulmonaria
saccharata 'Dora Bielefeld'
Flowers open when the foliage is only 4-5" tall and will continue
to open as the plant eventually reaches a height of 12-24"
over a span of several weeks. Pink flowers turn blue as they age.
The green foliage, sporting silvery spots, remains as an ornamental
feature in the garden long after the flowers are gone.
Optimum growing conditions for Pulmonaria saccarata 'Dora
Bielefeld' are light shade with adequate moisture. However, our
plants have performed quite well during the recent dry summers.
Pulmonaria saccharata 'Dora Bielefeld' can currently be
seen in the 1904 Garden.
