Business Consultant (Job Description):
As a Business Consultant at ECS, you will be at the front lines of the company installing Traders Console and its peripheral interfaces and managing an ongoing client base.

Whether based in Boston, New York, Stamford or our San Francisco office, you’ll deal directly with traders and portfolio managers on a daily basis and troubleshoot trading-related issues. This position requires extensive problem solving skills, the ability to think quickly and calmly on your feet in pressure situations, and the aptitude to understand our client needs and expectations. The consultant position does not require the actual coding of software, however it does require a solid understanding of our software and how to implement and integrate it with many other systems.

The position requires highly motivated self-starters willing to learn in detail two industries (technology and financial markets) that are constantly changing. Interpersonal skills are a must since the majority of the time is spent working on site with clients. Some travel may be required. The position will be demanding, but more rewarding than you can imagine.

The ideal Consulting candidate has knowledge and/or experience with financial markets and a few years experience in the Windows environment with the ability to install client/server software and troubleshoot problems. Knowledge of SQL or MS SQL Server will be a big plus. Very strong interpersonal skills are essential as is the ability to handle several projects at once. A Bachelors Degree is required.

Compensation includes a competitive base salary, performance bonus, 401 K matching & BCBS PPO health plan with $1 monthly premium.

Connectivity Analyst (Job Description):
Eze Castle Software (ECS) is seeking a Connectivity Analyst to join our Connectivity Development and Deployment team. The successful candidate will be a highly-motivated individual who will play a key role in the design, development and deployment of interfaces, as well managing various initiatives with our third parties.

The ideal candidate must have extensive problem solving skills and the aptitude to understand our internal and external client needs/expectations. This position requires coding of interfaces (mostly XML/XSLT and SQL) and requires a solid understanding of the trade life cycle from trade inception through settlement. Excellent communications skills are essential and the candidate should be comfortable working with various levels of employees ranging from developers to clients to IT.

Functions

  • Develop, maintain and deploy interfaces –This will involve interaction with third parties and clients, including long term roll out plans and complex business rules.
  • Coordinate improvement of existing systems and development of new systems through interfacing with end users, development, IT and third parties.
  • Foster relationships with third party vendors.
  • Work on future of product, improve implementation and roll out of interfaces.
  • Provide technical and business logic support to internal consulting teams.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems or Business Administration (but with technical aptitude in addition to business background).
  • 2+ years experience working in financial industry projects, particularly with Trading Software and financial applications.
  • Experience and knowledge of financial services including investment vehicles, especially Fixed Income and trading systems. Series 7 a plus.
  • Experience analyzing financial data along with extensive problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with MS SQL stored procedures, scripts etc.
  • Experience in a technical consulting role a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills a must.

Junior Software Developer (Job Description):
Eze Castle Software (ECS) is seeking a Junior Software Developer to join the core development team responsible for our entire product suite. Since 1995, ECS has been providing technology solutions to investment management firms. We strive to incorporate the latest technology and industry trends to achieve true automation of the investment management process and reduce the time our clients spend on managing trade and portfolio information.

FUNCTIONS:

  • Developing high quality code on schedule based on a technical design.
  • Performing unit testing and working closely with QA team on system testing and bug resolution.
  • Contributing to the ECS development community by researching new technology and development tools.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
  • Up to 2 years’ development experience in Delphi, C++, C# or .NET.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented design and programming.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Junior Analyst (Job Description):
One of the ECS’ primary initiatives is to recruit the very finest young professionals and actively build their leadership and business skills. Our leadership formation program begins in our QA Lab, where each Junior Analyst makes a very real difference in out business from Day One, while learning our business and associated products from the inside out. The Jr. Analyst’s primary job responsibilities will be to test Eze Castle products while being exposed to all functional areas of the company through various training initiatives and regularly scheduled “shadow” opportunities. Once a solid knowledge base of Eze Castle core products and services has been achieved, the Analysts will transition into Business Consulting and other areas of our business as positions become available. We expect that people will have the skills necessary to be promoted within one year. The starting salary for the Jr. Analyst role is $40k annually.
