Awards In Environmental Studies

Lindbergh Grants Program was founded to further Charles and Anne Morrow Lindbergh's shared vision of a balance between technological advancement and environmental preservation. Each year grants of up to $10,580 (a symbolic amount representing the cost of the "Spirit of St. Louis") are given for projects in the following categories: agriculture; aviation/aerospace; conservation of natural resources; education (including humanities/education, the arts and intercultural communication); exploration; health; and waste minimization and management. Deadline: Spring.

Udall Scholarship is an award for sophomore or junior students who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents and EITHER: preparing for a career in environmental public policy, OR: who are Native American or Alaska Natives who intend to pursue a career in health care or tribal policy.  MHC NOMINATION IS REQUIRED. MHC may nominate 4 students. Deadline: Winter.
