Pre-Law Advising

The CDC’s pre-law advisor, Katya King, is here to help whether you come to Mount Holyoke with a clear intention to pursue the study of law, or decide to do so in your senior year, or even as an alumna 5, 10, or 25 years after graduation

To begin using the pre-law advising services, you must open a pre-law advising file by filling out the pre-law questionnaire. This file will help us keep track of your interests and accomplishments, and eventually law school application materials, so as to best support you and your aspirations. Plan to check in with the pre-law advisor once a semester to answer any questions or new ideas you may have.

Faculty are the best resource for charting your academic path through Mount Holyoke. Start by speaking to your academic advisor about your plans for law school, and what implications this plan may have on your choice of courses and major. A group of pre-law faculty advisors is currently being formed. These faculty members will be available to help you as your law school plans take shape.
