By Class Year

It's important to have a timeline for career planning during your four years at college. By setting yourself goals and deadlines for career exploration, internship search, job search, and graduate school applications, you can ensure that you are prepared for life after college when you graduate.

YourPlan

YourPlan is Mount Holyoke's career planning tool. It is a personalized timeline for your four years at college with recommended steps in your career path and links for more information about these. YourPlan is separated into recommended steps for each class year.

Sophomore
By the end of your sophomore year, you should understand the content of a personal statement, how to prepare application essays, how to conduct a networking conversation, and how to obtain a January and summer internship.
