Ellen P. Reese Grants

The purpose of the Ellen P. Reese fund is to support undergraduate independent research carried out with a Mount Holyoke College faculty member in any academic department or program. Reese grants are made to help defray expenses incurred by students doing research with Mount Holyoke faculty members, preferably research that contributes to the faculty member's own work.  The application for Reese funding must originate with a faculty member (not a student), though students may encourage faculty to submit them.

Applications for Reese funding are reviewed separately by the Faculty Grants Committee, and their deadline is coordinated with the Faculty Grants program. These grants generally originate with the faculty member, and therefore, use of the universal application form is not appropriate. Please consult the Dean of Faculty Web site for more information.
