Create an Online Course
in WebCT Workshop for faculty and staff. Learn to put up course
syllabi, handouts, readings, and lecture notes. Set up a discussion
list and learn about the many other features of WebCT. No previous
Web experience required! From 1 to 3 pm CSIT consultants will
be available in the Faculty Resource Center to assist with setting
up spring courses in WebCT. Register at www.mtholyoke.edu/go/training.

Event Planning Seminar Do you or your family foresee hosting
a large event? This seminar will give an overview of planning
a special occasion, including initial planning, budgets, time
lines, follow-through, and other details. Be sure to bring your
lunch. There are four consecutive sessionsJanuary 14, 21,
and 28, and February 4. Presented by Rachel Osborn, assistant

Auditions for the
Five College Early Music Program Auditions will be held during
the first week of classes at each of the Five Colleges. There
are openings for singers and instrumentalists of all sorts and
for those who wish to start recorder and other Renaissance winds,
viol, and lute. Ensembles include Collegium, Women's Vocal
Ensemble, baroque/classical chamber ensembles, and others. Group
and private lessons are available. Room 210, *Pratt Hall, noon.
Film Society Movie
Waking Life. This movie, which was created by superimposing
animation over live-action footage, tells a beautiful, philosophical
story about lucid dreaming. Written and directed by Richard Linklater.
