A Jewish Approach to Qigong Healing A workshop on how
we can infuse spirit into the "mundane" activities of
maintaining our bodies, based on the practice of Chi-Lel Qigong.
Qigong, which combines gentle movements with visualizations, has
been shown to be effective in reducing stress. For all physical

"More Than Just a Pretty Face: Feminism, Race, and Popular
Culture for Girls, 19551999" Lecture by Kate Kruckemeyer,
Five College Women's Studies Research Associate from George
Washington University. Kruckemeyer will look at the ways in which
popular culture has portrayed girls' concerns. She explains
the complex interaction between contemporary social movements
(such as civil rights, feminism, and multiculturaliam), the messages
popular culture sends to and about girls, and girls' responses
