Freeman Foundation
Scholarships
The Freeman Foundation has donated funds to help U.S. students
at Mount Holyoke to become better acquainted with East Asia by
allowing them the opportunity to study or work in Japan, Korea,
and China, including Hong Kong and Taiwan. All students, except
graduating seniors, are eligible to apply for this scholarship,
but applicants whose families do not live in Asia and are qualified
will receive preference over students whose families live in Asia.
Students may apply for funding either for summer study or research,
or for a summer internship. Applications are reviewed on a rolling
basis. Early applications are encouraged. The deadline for submission
of the completed application is March 31. For more information,
and application forms in PDF format, visit http://www.mtholyoke.edu/offices/careers/fellows/dept.htm#one.
