Spring Free from
Smoking A six-session program (March 23 and 30; April 6,13,
20, and 27) will be offered Saturdays from10 am to noon, to help
smokers quit the habit. The emphasis will be on learning new coping
skills and withdrawal techniques and creating a support network.
Nicotine replacement therapy (patches) will be available. This
program,
which will be offered in the MHC Health Center conference room,
is being sponsored by Tapestry Health, the GranbySouth Hadley
Tobacco Control Program, and MHC Health Services. The fee is on
a sliding scale (low cost to free), and the series is open to
students, staff, faculty, and the general public. Call Carl at
Tapestry at 586-2016, x169, to preregister. Please note: You can
miss the first session because of spring break but you must preregister.
Physical Education
Classes Second half-semester physical education classes begin
the week of March 25. Activity begins with the first session.
