
Guster features the unique
instrumentation of two acoustic guitars and a set of bongos and
congas. Its three members--Ryan Miller, Adam Gardner, and Brian
Rosenworcel --met at Tufts University in 1992 and recruited
award-winning producer Mike Denneen for the band's 1994 debut
recording, titled Parachute. After selling 25,000 copies of
the record, Guster signed with Hybrid/Sire Records and released the
group's debut major-label album Goldfly. The band's third and
current record, Lost and Gone Forever, was released in
September. Tickets are $17.50 in advance
and went on sale March 3 at B-Side Records in Northampton, For The
Record in Amherst, and all Strawberries record stores. Tickets may be

Guster, a pop/rock band that recently sold out the 2,800-capacity
Orpheum Theater in Boston and the 2,950-capacity Palladium in
Worcester, will appear in concert at Chapin Auditorium Thursday,
April 13, at 8 pm. Doors will open at 7 pm. Special guests Luna and
Josh Rouse will open the show.
