Evelyn Finkbeiner Fellowship
The Department of German Studies invites German studies majors planning to study in Germany in 2005–2006 to apply for the Evelyn Finkbeiner Fellowship for Study Abroad. According to the guidelines set by Ms. Finkbeiner ’42, the Evelyn Finkbeiner Fellowship is to be awarded to a German studies major or majors planning to study in Germany for a year on the basis of academic excellence. The department will also take financial need into consideration.
The application requirements are:
1. an up-to-date transcript
2. information on other funding available for study abroad
3. a short statement in German explaining how the fellowship will foster and support academic plans for study in Germany.
The deadline for the Finkbeiner Fellowship is April 15. For more information, contact the German studies department.
