Uncommon Women, Again

  President and Women

President Creighton (far right) joined a phalanx of alumnae, trustees, and other prominent women, including (from left) Lily Koppel, reporter for the New York Times; trustee Kavita Ramdas '85, president and CEO of the Global Fund for Women; and Nicky McIntyre, the Global Fund's vice president for development and communications.

Dozens of New York alumnae and other women leaders in media, fashion, finance, and other fields, joined together Wednesday, March 23, for the second Uncommon Women event in a speaker series initiated last year and produced by Elle magazine in conjunction with Mount Holyoke College and Wendy Wasserstein ’71, a Pulitzer Prize-winning author and playwright. Held at Le Bernardin restaurant in New York City, the event featured Wasserstein in conversation with Leslee Dart, president of the Dart Group, a high-profile public relations firm, and Liz Smith, the nationally syndicated columnist and author, whose columns appear regularly in the New York Post. The theme of the evening: “My Brilliant Career: At the Top of Their Game.”
