"Reporting on the Embryo" Lecture by Gina
Kolata, science reporter, New York Times. Kolata has
been a senior writer for Science magazine and holds a master's
degree in applied mathematics from the University of Maryland.
Her books include The Quest for Truth about Exercise and Health
(2003), Flu: The Story of the Great Influenza Pandemic
in 1918 and the Search for the Virus that Caused It (1999),
and Clone: The Road to Dolly and the Path Ahead (1998).
This event is part of the Weissman Center's spring series
on The Political Embryo: Reconceiving Human Reproduction and
is supported by the Katherine B. Fitzgerald Lecture Fund. Gamble
