Wayne’s World The visit to MHC last Thursday of Wayne LaPierre, chief executive officer of the National Rifle Association, generated a small protest on campus and a flurry of local media activity. The Union News, the Daily Hampshire Gazette, and Channel 40 covered LaPierre’s discussion of gun laws and individual freedom. LaPierre, invited by the College Republicans, helped kick off Conservative Awareness Week on campus.
