Hundreds of Prospective Students to Visit Campus

You will be seeing some fresh new faces on campus next weekend as students admitted for fall 2004 come to give the College a closer look. The admission office has arranged two programs, Experience MHC (formerly called Preview) and Experience Diversity (formerly called ALANA Preview), to provide admitted students and their families the opportunity to meet other admitted students as well as presently enrolled students and faculty. Students will be welcome to stay in residence halls, visit classes and laboratories, and explore the campus. Experience MHC will take place April 18–19. "Experience MHC and Experience Diversity are critical to the College’s recruitment efforts," said Diane Anci, dean of admission. "They provide admitted students with an in-depth look at Mount Holyoke and often serve as the deciding factor in students’ decisions to matriculate at MHC."

Experience Diversity is an optional extra day, April 17, designed for admitted students who are particularly interested in being part of a multicultural college community.

The admission office expects 350 students and 375 parents to attend both programs.
