Cable Guy
History Professor Daniel Czitrom was a featured on-camera commentator in a new American Experience documentary, The Great Transatlantic Cable, that premiered on PBS Monday, April 11. The show documents an amazing story: the laying of the first Transatlantic telegraph cable in 1858—the first step toward wiring the world for modern communications media. More about the show is available at www.pbs.org/wgbh/amex/cable.
