July 12 Deadline
to Update Your Telephone Directory Listing This
is the College's second year of updating the campus telephone
directory information via a Web form at http://www.mtholyoke.edu/go/teldir.
It was highly successful last year. By signing in with your user
name and password, you validate the changes as ones that you want
to make for this year. Even if you don't think you have changes,
check to make sure all of the information is correct. All changes
will be fed automatically into the production of this year's directory
from this online form. If no changes are received by July 12,
your current information will be repeated. If you encounter difficulties
with the Web form, contact the help desk at x2600, or call x2824
or x2286. You may send questions to phonedir@mtholyoke.edu.
If departmental assistants have telephone and office numbers for
new faculty, they should be sent to phonedir@mtholyoke.edu.
The faculty member's full name and MHC email name should be included.
Extensions/Incompletes Faculty legislation stipulates
that "an instructor may report a student's work as incomplete
only if the student has been given an excuse by the director
of Health Services or the dean of the College because of an emergency."
This means that instructors may not accept exams, or papers due
in lieu of exams, after noon on Thursday, May 16, unless authorized
by the director of Health Services for medical reasons, or by
one of the academic deans in the dean of the College's Office
for unforeseen emergencies. All other course work must be turned
in by the last day of classes. Thursday, May 16, at noon is the
deadline for students to request authorization for an extension
because of incomplete work.
