Open Puts Orchards at Center Stage

From July 1 to 4,
The Orchards, Mount Holyoke College’s golf course, was
in the spotlight as the home of the 2004 U.S. Women’s
Open, the premier women’s golf event in the world. One
hundred and fifty-six of the best women golfers, amateur and
professional alike, played the classic Donald Ross-designed
course, while 600 members of the U.S. and international media
and a record 118,458 spectators looked on. more>
