Agreement
Reached between College and Alumnae Association
On July 1, the Trustees
of Mount Holyoke College and the Board of Directors of the Alumnae
Association of Mount Holyoke College entered into a ten-year joint
agreement, pledging to work together cooperatively and in good
faith to foster the long-term success of the College and its alumnae.
The agreement assures the self-governance and autonomy of the
Alumnae Association by providing a reliable source of income,
disallows competitive fundraising, and clarifies that the Annual
Fund is the College's umbrella fundraising organization for
the College's yearly operating budget. The agreement has
been posted on both the College's and the Alumnae Association's
Web sites.
