week of October, the College's counseling service will offer
a free, confidential group for women who would like to decrease
food and weight preoccupations, alter negative eating and exercise
patterns, and enhance self-esteem from the inside out. Members
will have the opportunity to identify underlying dynamics that
fuel eating issues, to challenge unrealistic ideals, and to develop
healthier coping strategies. Call x2037 for further information.
Pre-group screening is required.
Attention Faculty
and Staff
Faculty and staff
members who are interested in adding their names to a confidential
email list for LGBT faculty and staff should send a request to
Kristin Pepe at kpepe@mtholyoke.edu.
This list has been in existence for many years and is a way for
people who are new to MHC to connect with others. The group hosts
monthly potluck dinners, which are held at volunteers' homes
in the area. Partners and children are always welcome to attend
these events.
