Hubbell Grants for Students of French
Small grants are available through the French department’s Sylvia Sherk Hubbell ’39 Memorial Fund for students currently enrolled in fall 2003 French courses. Grants are awarded to support or help defray expenses for independent research, theses, internships, books, and French-related materials (need-based), and junior-year-abroad cultural activities for Laurel Fellowship recipients (museums, theater, concerts, excursions, and movies). Application forms are available in the French department office. The deadlines for submission are September 26 and November 3, 2003.
