OmbudÕs OfficeÐGot a Problem? Call the ombudsperson, who
is on campus to help all members of the MHC community solve problems
that range from clarifying confusion, harassment, academic dishonesty,
and discrimination. The ombudsperson is objective, neutral, and independent,
and her services are confidential. Please contact Sherry Turner, ombudsperson,
at x2863, or administrative assistant Sandy Kacenski, at x2413, to set
up an appointment. Office hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from
8:30 am to 5 pm. Please leave a number where you can be reached confidentially,
as the office protects privacy.
Students
Honors and Independent Students Honors and independent students
should make an appointment at the reference desk in Williston Library,
and a librarian will help students identify sources specific to their
research topic. When appropriate to the research, Internet resources
and sources in other library collections will be discussed. To make
an appointment, call x2212, Monday–Friday, 9 am–5 pm, or send
email to libref.
