Teaching during January Term Have you always wanted to teach? Do you enjoy helping other people learn new things? Are you an international student who wants to gain an insider’s view of American public schools? Are you planning a career in early childhood, elementary, middle, or secondary education? If you answered yes to any of these questions, Education 332J or 324J, Observing and Assisting in Schools, may be the January Term course for you. Students interested in working in schools with early childhood (grades preK–3), elementary (grades 1–6), middle (5–9) or secondary (9–12) children during January Term should attend an information session Wednesday, October 24, at 4 pm in Reese Psychology and Education Building, room 304. Packets for both courses will be available Monday, October 22, in Reese, room 303. This course is required for students seeking teacher licensure.

Flu Shots The College Health Services will be offering flu shots to students, staff, and faculty from 8:30 am to 4 pm Friday, October 26, and Friday, November 9. The cost is $10. Call x2121 and press option #1 to make a nursing appointment.

More Phys Ed Second-half physical education classes begin October 29 and October 30. Activity begins at the first class.
