Pioneer Valley political and collegiate leaders
joined representatives of the civic, hospitality, and tourism
industries at an October 14 reception at the Mount Holyoke College
Art Museum to help celebrate a new collaborative effort to
promote the area's leading museums. Speakers at the event
were (from left to right) Joanne V. Creighton, MHC president;
John Scibak, state representative (D-South Hadley); Lorna Peterson,
executive director of Five Colleges, Inc.; and Marianne Doezema,
director of the MHC art museum.
