Former WAVE Visits MHC

Kennon Henderson Patton (above) of Carrollton, Georgia, recently visited Mount Holyoke, where she was one of 300 WWII WAVES (Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service) who trained on the MHC campus from December 1942 to January 1943. Patton, 92, stopped by her old room in South Rockefeller Hall and dined at Blanchard Campus Center.
