At
an opening reception held December 2 for Art @ Work, the
College's first staff art exhibition, John Bryant, director
of Facilities Management, gets an art lesson from artist
and payroll specialist Claudette Crochiere. Her painting,
titled Sisters, and thirty-nine other objets d'art by staffers
are on view in the exhibition, which will continue through
December 13 in Kendade Hall's Marion Craig Potter '49 Atrium.

Bonneville Weatherbie '72 (far right), a Mount Holyoke trustee
and chair of the Advisory Board for the Mount Holyoke College
Art Museum, speaks to local business and civic leaders about
the many reasons to support the art museum's children's
education program. Joining Weatherbie at a reception at
the art museum November 20 were (left to right), Matthew
McDonough III, Connie Pettengill, and Edward Ryan Jr. More
than 1,000 schoolchildren from more than forty local schools
visit the museum annually as part of the program. Nearly
forty guests from the community joined Weatherbie and museum
director Marianne Doezema at the event.
