Erica Berman '05 (top) and Pat Spees FP '03 under one of three quilts that were—or will be—auctioned off to raise money for the Global Fund for Women and Girls Inc. in Holyoke. MHC students helped make the quilts during Second*Saturday, an annual community service program held in October. This year's student group made quilts for babies and toddlers with AIDS. Spees has taught the art of quilting to 25–35 students each of the past four years, and Berman has been group leader for the past two years.
