Seniors: St. Andrew's Fellowship for Graduate Study in Scotland

$13,000 scholarships. Seniors must be at least partly of Scottish descent and have the qualifications to be good ambassadors. Sarah Beattie '95, economics, is now studying political economy at the University of Edinburgh. After reading the materials in the file, please make an appointment with the fellowship coordinator. Preliminary deadline is November 15.

Seniors: Mellon Fellowships for Graduate Study

$13,500 for a first year of study toward a PhD in the humanities (excluding creative and performing arts), in preparation for a career of university teaching and scholarship. Open to U.S. citizens and permanent residents. Request application now for final deadline in December.

Juniors: Beinecke Scholarship

$15,000 per year for two years of graduate study in all fields. Applicants must receive financial aid and be U.S. citizens or permanent residents who will receive citizenship before May 1, 1996. Preliminary deadline is December 4.
