Presented by the Career Development Center (CDC). Offices are located in the Everett Wing (next to the Groves Health Center). Hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. When classes are in session, the Career Development Library only is open Thursday until 8 PM and Saturday, 1-4 PM. Drop-in hours are 2:00-4:30 PM, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; and 9:00-11:30 AM, Tuesday and Thursday.

On Campus

Fellowships and Scholarships Information Meeting

Part of a regular series of open advising sessions presenting information and instruction on researching and applying for funding for undergraduate and postgraduate work and study. Friday, November 3, CDC, 10 AM; and Friday, November 10, CDC, 2 PM.

Resume-Writing Workshop

Covers what to include, how to present it, layout, and more, focusing on employers' needs. Thursday, November 9, 302 Psychology and Education Building, 4-5 PM.

Mock Interviews

Practice interviewing with staff members using video every Monday and Wednesday at 3 PM and 4 PM in the CDC. Call for an appointment. If you want a copy of your mock interview, bring a blank videotape.

Workshop on Job-Hunting Strategies

A comprehensive plan for developing a job search in your area of interest. Covers identifying resources, contacting prospective employers, geographic locations, and networking. Wednesday, November 8, 207 Blanchard Campus Center, 4-5 PM.

How to Get the Most out of Your CEP

Attendance is mandatory at one of these meetings for all January Term Career Exploration Project (CEP) participants. Receive the evaluation forms, learn what is expected when you are on site, and hear tips on how to make this a successful experience. The first session will be held Friday, November 10, 302 Psychology and Education Building, 4-5 PM.

Opening for computer assurance services associate. Candidates should have experience in managing projects, business analysis, finance and auditing, or systems analysis. Knowledge of mainframe, midrange, or distributed computing environment and programming is a plus. Recruiting date is December 5. Submit cover letter, resume, and unofficial transcript by November 14.

1995 Boston Career Forum is the largest free international career forum for Japanese/English and Korean/English bilinguals. Bilingual college seniors and recent graduates can interview for employment with representatives from over seventy Japanese, American, and Korean companies at the forum. All majors welcome.
