On October 20-21, the admissions office will welcome high school juniors and seniors to campus for Spotlight Mount Holyoke 1996. Prospective students and their parents will have the opportunity to experience our community firsthand. The admissions office will "spotlight" academic life, athletic and extracurricular opportunities, and the residential living experience at Mount Holyoke. Spotlight will offer our visitors insight into MHC's unique offerings and dynamic student body. Students will attend classes, spend the night in residence halls, and attend several panels to give them a closer look at our community.
Spotlight is a time for the Mount Holyoke community to come together. While the admissions office maintains primary responsibility for Spotlight, success is contingent upon the assistance of faculty, students, and staff. We will call on students to serve as hostesses for our guests, and on faculty and administrators to participate in panel discussions and to welcome these students into their classes. We ask that you mark October 20-21 on your calendar and join us in welcoming these very special visitors.
Every student should have received a slip in her mailbox inviting her to pick up a Mary Lyon Legacy Program packet. In the packet is a certificate for you to present to a prospective MHC student, along with admissions materials and instructions on how to participate in the program. If you haven't received your packet yet, bring your student ID to the Blanchard Post Office window and ask for it.
