Busy Night and Day: Celebrating the Past, Creating in the Present
Founder's Day ceremonies, expanded this year in honor of Mary Lyon's 200th
birthday, closed with
a candlelight walk to Lyon's grave, where the alma mater was sung and a wreath
was laid in her memory.
With brushes and vision, MHC students near completion of a collaborative
mural depicting the artists' views of the College's strengths. Each woman
depicted on the mural painted a personally meaningful image in the area in
front of her heart.
