Home sweet residence hall--earlier this week, consultants from The Hillier Group met with student leaders, faculty, administrators, and student representatives of each residence hall to find out what students like about and how they'd improve living conditions on campus. The information will become part of a report from the Study Group on Student Housing and Nonacademic Space, which has spent the fall studying how best to use the halls' public spaces. The draft Plan for MHC 2003 calls for giving "heightened attention to housing and dining facilities," and results of the consultants' visit will become part of the overall planning process, according to study group member Wayne Gass.
