Are MHC First-Year Students Typical?

The results are in from the annual nationwide survey of college first-year students conducted by the UCLA Higher Education Research Institute. One of the biggest national trends this year was a jump in the number of incoming students who had performed volunteer work during the past year. MHC women far exceeded the national volunteering average (72 percent) with a whopping 91 percent volunteer rate.
